The desktop had to go to the shop. I've tried to upload everything to the laptop, and that has taken care of today---the whole day. I copied the Word blog files on a disc from the desktop, and when I try to open them on the laptop, all I get is YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYaaaaaaaYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Apparently there is a language problem. As soon as I can figure this out, I'll continue on, otherwise, it will be a week before the desktop comes back. If you know the answer to this riddle, don't be bashful. My e.mail address is in top-right. jim
